FAQ
What size is standard graph paper?
In the US, 1/4 inch squares (4 squares per inch) are most common for school. Engineering paper often uses 1/5 inch, and metric graph paper uses 5 mm or 1 cm.
What's the difference between wide and college ruled?
Wide ruled lines are 11/32 inch (0.34375 in) apart and college ruled 9/32 inch (0.28125 in).
What is the Cornell note-taking layout?
A page split into a narrow cue column on the left for questions and keywords, a wide ruled column for notes, and a summary box at the bottom. You take notes in class, add cues afterwards, then summarize the page in a few sentences.
How do I print it the right size?
Open the PDF and print at 100% or "Actual size" rather than "Fit to page", on US Letter or A4 to match the paper size you chose.
Is it really free? Do I need an account?
Yes, it's free and there's no sign-up. The PDF is created in your browser and nothing is uploaded. Print it as often as you like for home or classroom use.
